Project manager under construction - solar - Israel
We are looking for a project manager to lead projects that are under construction, that require multidisciplinary management skills in the fields of infrastructure, engineering, finance, and more.
Areas of responsibility:
Project management of solar farms, starting from the financial closing to the stage of construction and operation in the field.
Management of working interfaces within organizations, including development, engineering, finance, and managing interfaces with contractors, global equipment suppliers, management companies, supervision, and business partners.
Analysis of main milestones and understanding of contractual risks and exposures, negotiation strategies in favor of proactive solutions.
Regular representation and updating of the project’s progress to the management, partners, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/civil/mechanical engineering or other fields – mandatory.
At least two years of previous experience in managing infrastructure and building construction projects, electrical infrastructures including construction, managing contractors, consultants, and planners.
Previous experience in the field of renewable energy is an advantage
Excellent self-management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple interfaces simultaneously.
Technical orientation with an exceptional ability to look at the big picture.
The position may include travel abroad.
Solar Energy Project Manager - Israel
Manager to develop solar projects, wind farms, and energy storage facilities in Israel.
Areas of responsibility:
Project management from the initial initiation phase through the statutory planning phase to obtaining building permits (Ready To Build).
Leading the planning process and dealing with all planning, environmental, engineering and ownership issues, while working with statutory authorities, government ministries, environmental organizations, infrastructure companies, and land stakeholders.
Promotion and approval of detailed statutory plans (TBA/T4) for projects in the regional and national planning institutions and promotion of the licensing procedure.
Managing a team of multidisciplinary professional consultants and working with local and international consulting companies.
Requirements:
Experience working with the planning institutions, promoting and managing complex statutory procedures and/or infrastructure projects – mandatory
Experience working with various stakeholders – regulatory, government, municipal and environmental organizations – a must.
High expressive ability orally and in writing.
Experience in fulfilling multiple tasks at the same time and under pressure.
Background in leading processes that require the integration of different content worlds (statutory, technical, environmental, legal) – an advantage.
Highly motivated, excellent interpersonal skills, intellectual sharpness, and the ability to work independently.
